Emma, Luke and I just got home from the first - third grade "dance party". Oh, my, I don't think we will be doing that again next year. It was loud, crowded and, well, 150 7-9 year olds in one space, need I say more?

Anyway, I am home now, kids are sleeping and I am trying to figure out how to post a video on my blog. Unfortunately, I may have to call in the computer expert to help me, and if Nicholas isn't available, I will ask Tom! So no pictures tonight, but I have a few good Charlie stories.

Charlie used the words "amazing" and "actually" today. I love the three year old language explosion. He also said to me, "I hate oranges!" He is close to obsessed with the letters of the alphabet these days. He will sit for long periods of time (maybe up to 5 minutes) asking me to write letters on his aquadoodle, then he will copy them. Being a preschool teacher at heart, I LOVE to see this learning happening so naturally! Very cool. He likes to race Nicholas up the stairs, but if Nicholas gets ahead of him, he will shout, "Nicholas, get BEHIND me!" Of course, because Nicholas is the best big brother Charlie could ever ask for, he slows down and Charlie wins every time.
